KUALA LUMPUR, JANUARY 2, 2025 – The Malaysian Digital Association (MDA) has announced the addition of two new categories for the highly anticipated d Awards 2025, aimed at broadening its recognition of industry excellence and encouraging digital innovators to further contribute to the growth of Malaysia’s digital economy.
In the New Era of Creativity, bold, daring ideas take centre stage, attracting a wider spectrum of agencies—from independent creators to forward-thinking networks/clients. In a world where abstract numbers often dilute creativity, this era champions originality and risk-taking to cut through the clutter and make real impact. By embracing new technologies like AI, we lead the charge with fearless, unconventional ideas that break conventions and transform the way we engage audiences, proving that creativity can thrive beyond the data.
“The d Awards have long championed the best in digital innovation within Malaysia’s marketing tech & digital creativity landscape. This year, with ‘Content Agency of the Year,’ we spotlight the power of content at the core of campaigns, honouring agencies and companies behind exceptional work. Similarly, ‘Best Digital Audio & Podcast Campaign’ highlights the phenomenal growth of this medium and aims to inspire even greater achievements among creators,” said Mr Nicholas Sagau, the d Awards 2025 Organising Chairperson.
The introduction of these new categories underlines the continuous evolution of the d Awards, Malaysia’s premier award platform dedicated to recognizing outstanding achievements in digital media. The awards honor brands, agencies, publishers, and technology companies that push the boundaries of digital innovation.

The d Awards 2025 is open to campaigns, projects, and products executed and developed in Malaysia between January 1 and December 31, 2024. The final submission deadline is January 22, 2025. The extended deadline is set for February 5th, 2025.
To further empower participants, the MDA School Masterclass for d Awards will be held in January 2025. This workshop aims to help entrants refine their submissions and master the art of crafting winning elevator pitches, providing valuable insights and techniques to elevate their work.
